Brisbane

Hey you all!

How are you all doing? It has been a while (yes again) since I’ve been writing and I’m actually to lazy to write everything and I already forget when and for how long I went where, oepsie (I’m getting old; losing my mind)
My sister has write a few things about our travel together (sorry for those who are English speaking it’s in Dutch so you can’t understand it)

I am in BRISBANE right now, yeeehhhh!!!
At the moment I am staying at my parents friends house; and it’s so good to have a ‘house’ and a nice warm shower again (o yeah also a blanket not to forget) What a luxury. It’s all really western again; and it’s good for a change.

The people here are all so friendly; in the beginning I thought they were just faking but they are for real and the have a great sense of HUMOR (I love it)
Some you can’t really understand though when they speak; that makes it a bit hard sometimes.

The city has a lot of high building, but it’s nice to see the old and the new buildings together. Bruce took me for a walk and showed me the city; it’s good to have people who actually live there to show you a round.
I also went on a boat trip where they told me lots about the city and all the criminals who lived there (ah good to know that most of them are not a life anymore)

I went to a park with kangaroos and Kuala’s and you could actually cuddle them; they are so so cute; I want to have one as pet, haha

With Jessica (Anne and Bruce daughter) I went to town and we went out on Saturday. It’s so much fun that they all really dress up and take hours to do there hair and make-up etc; dresses like if they are going to a pram. It’s great that in the night you see all these young people going out (you can actually were a summer dress to go out!!! Whaa how fun is that?!)

It’s so much different to travel here than in Asia; I don’t think you can really call it travel like backpacker, because they all look fancy (that’s not how I’m looking with all my dirty not washed clothes, haha).

I’ll go and travel up north to Harvey Bay, Fraser Island and Whitesunday island and than down to cold coast, Sydney and Melbourne; so lots to do and lots to see.
