The next day (Friday) we went back with the boat, this time a slower and more peaceful boat (but they had dropped us of at a different place so we had to drive half an hour by car) and than we toke of to the mountains. Friday evening we slept in a nice town with a lot of beautiful mosque. The town had a beautiful colonial architecture (with some big bridges over the river) and the atmosphere there was nice.
Saturday morning we first went to the market and bought some stuff, they all look ( a bit surprised you are there) at you and than we took a look at the mosque (we weren’t aloud to go in there, not without wearing something on our heads)
Than we headed of to the mountains: Cameron Highlands.
