When I came out the first one I saw was him. With a taxi we drove for an hour to the hotel; I didn't saw much of the environment we only talked and talked; it felt so normal and safe again; we had lots to talk about. It was great to hear about all his stories and good to know that it had changed him in a good way (although about of weight lost you could see)
We arrived at the hotel and the first thing I saw was old man with young girls. I sat on the bed and told Dimitry what a hard bed it was; he laughed and sad he was just thinking about how soft the bed was; yes that is what you get after India; everything is clean and luxury after that.
We spend a few day's in Phuket but we didn't like it at all; too many tourist and especially too many sextourism, bleh.
We went on a one day tour to the James Bond island; they had changed the name after the movie was filmed. It was a great day and oh so gorgeous you can not imagine! The boat was nice and we got free drinks, fruit and a really realy big and delicious lunch (on the water you get so hungry and there was fresh fish, lots of salad, different kind of rice and meat, so enough to eat and chose) We even got a coconut with colorful straw and a transsexual/ladyboy performance with karaoke and dancing around the table (it must have been a strange look for the other boats; dress up boy's with booby's and tourist dancing around).
Freedom and space on the quiet water, big rocks coming out of the water as if they just explode from under, such a powerful nature and so much beauty. The waves came rolling over the beaches and rocks. We got out of the boat to see and walk in these big giant caves with bats.
It was a pity that on the island there were so many tourist and all markets with people selling things to tourist (good for Dimitry though he got a nice coral bracelet after fighting to bargen for a good deal/price). You could see the big rock and place Casino Royal was filmed (so if you see the film now you can say you've been there).
The whole day we drove with the boat to these gorgeous places and beautiful rocks and island and when we got of the boat we went on with a canoe. The view was amazing; you actually went under these rocks and in the mountain where there were these beautiful lagoons. Sometimes you really had to duke or lay flat in the canoe because if you didn't you would hit your head. We went trough these arrow and small holes to get to the other site so if you are claustrophobic don't go there, and if you're not you will get claustrophobic when you're there!
It was such a great experience canoeing trough these rocks and lagoons, going trough small holes to drive in dark creepy caves with bats flying around your head and shitting on your head (yes that was the best part of the bats hanging there and shitting down on your head).
Silence, dark; nothing you can see but the light shining under the rock from the other site from the lagoon. Alone in your canoe, lying down not to bump your head on a rock, suddenly the sound of hundreds of wings flying from above trough the air, a high squeaking sound in your ears, a fast and quick touch scrapping your skin; awaken the bats sleeping in the cave.
We asked the guide if there were animals in the water; before we saw a dead blowfish driving in the water and they are pretty dangerous. Yes there were a lot of fish, snakes and other animals in the water, but when we ask if we could go swimming he went to the shore and we could go swimming (beautiful if you don't think of dangerous and poisines animals swimming under you).
