Budha Park (Vientienne)
As always we were to stubbert to admit that we did need a map. Every time we went with a motorbike we were about to get a map, but every time they ask this ridicules prices and we decided to go without and just follow the sign. It gets a bit harder when you don't no the exact name in their language and your driving kilometers without seeing any signs whatsoever. You ask a couple of people but they don't know where it is or they don't speak any English so than it gets hard.
Still we manage to find the places we wanted to go without ever using a map.
On our journey from Vientienne to the Buddha Park we stopped for a drink. There was a whole football team yelling and making signs at us; come and have a beer with us. It was great! They just finished there game and all went drinking and celebrating afterwards. I was sitting there as only girl in between more than 20 drunken red faced man. When your glass was finished they filled it up again (with the hot sun you get drunk fast).
After a few glasses of Beerlao it was time to go again. We sad goodbye, they made pictures and hugged us and of we were to the Buddha Park.
After just a few minutes driven the tire started to make funny noises and the motorbike started to slip. Just what we needed: a flat tire!
We asked someone where we could fix it, but when we arrived there it was closed. The other station was a few kilometers back. It was getting later, we were almost there and now we were walking back with a flat tired motorbike in our hands.
On the way we saw a boy from the soccer team party, when he saw us he laughed and helped us. He brought us to the garage where they fixed our tire. It was good that he was there because that way we didn't get ribbed of and only paid 5 cents to fix the tire.
It was great to see with what kind of instruments they fix tires and motorbikes. On motorbikes you see different kind of materials used together. They glue the tire using an iron; we would not have thought about that.
At the end we arrived at the Buddha park; which was beautiful. All these big Buddha statues and other story heroes in one park. In one you could go all the way up and see the whole park.
Again it was a great day and lots of fun with the locals.

Sven:
Hi Ammara,
