Car ride
We had rented a car, so we had the privilege to go and see a lot of places and take our own plans. In Malaysia they don’t have many roads, only one big (coast) road going around Malaysia, because there are lots of jungles and mountains you can’t cross with the car very easily.
It was amazing to see the view and the nature of Malaysia; such a beautiful environment, not only the big palm trees and plantation, but also mountains and jungles.
We stopped a few times to have a drink and we sat just watching the beautiful beach and tried out some different drinks and foot (some I never knew they existed).
You don’t see a lot of animals (not as much as I could remember from Indonesia), you see some dogs and cats, and of course all the bugs you have (bleh, those animals I could miss like tooth pain, but they weren’t quite so bad, yet..).
The cats and dogs looked ok, yeah some of course really skinny and attacked and a lot of them won’t survive, but I made some palls ;)
People work, but you don’t really see them working or doing a lot: work here manly is having a shop and watching TV inside there: you can’t blame them: it’s much to warm to do anything. It is amazing how many little shops (I don’t mean the shops we are just to, I mean the little huts with some old rapped up food or dinner) there are and how few tourists. The whole time I spend in Malaysia I saw hardly any tourist, later I found out where they were……
